| For the past 25 years, Dr. Van Patten has developed and implemented effective, practical approaches to ensuring safe, high-quality and productive workplaces. His experience ranges across industries from manufacturing to high-tech to financial services and from small privately-owned facilities to large, global corporations. He founded Trinity Performance Systems in 1987, working primarily with Fortune 100 companies to develop and implement training and performance solutions to business critical knowledge and skill challenges. As a result of his work for the Kaizen Institute of America, Jim was asked to join KIA as a senior consultant in 1989, where he helped companies implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Jim has numerous publications, and has consulted to various organizations concerning lean manufacturing, organizational culture change, and instructional design theory and application. | |||

His approaches involve whole system, action learning techniques that leverage the existing resources of your people and minimize the time required away from job. He has over 25 years of consulting experience in North America and Europe with a particular focus on customer service and process improvement. His clients include: GMAC Commercial Lending, Halifax, Johnson & Johnson, McDonalds, NASDAQ and various major banks in the US, Canada and Australia.
